With the UEFA Champions League Final fast approaching it is the perfect time to look back at the history of European football and the best clubs the continent has to offer.

It surely is difficult to narrow down the list to the Top Ten clubs in UEFA, as there are many tremendously elite clubs from the 52 represented nations in the association, but when picking the ten best the standards are held extra high.

The ranking criteria included domestic league success, domestic cups won, and most importantly UEFA competition success (European Cup/UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League, etc).
